Rocketplane Global has combined many of the industry standard empirical vehicle design and sizing methods to create a hybrid “Spaceplane” design package which emphasizes total integrated vehicle optimization in contrast to the traditional disciplinary optimization process.
This Multi-Disciplinary Optimization system allows Rocketplane Global to rapidly model and conduct trade studies on the effects of combined propulsion systems, system sizing utilizing modern technology, basic aerodynamic concepts, modern structural and TPS concepts, and propellant selections against various mission requirements.
